Meet The Owner!

Hi, I’m Dakota — the heart behind WLB, which I launched in 2020. What began as a small passion project has grown into something far greater than I ever imagined. When I first started this boutique, I was working in retail. Today, I’m a stay-at-home mom, balancing business life with motherhood — chasing after a toddler, keeping up with a teenager, and managing a few other ventures alongside my amazing wife.

My wife and I have been married for 7 wonderful years. Along with our two kids, our home is full of love (and energy!) thanks to our eleven pets: a dog, a cat, a bearded dragon, a fish, and seven chickens.

WLB was born out of a desire to break free from the corporate grind and invest in something that truly fuels me. I started as a women’s boutique, but over time, I’ve expanded to include items for kids too. Entrepreneurship runs in my family, and it’s my dream to one day pass this business on to our children.
